UK Pavilion Design and Delivery

The Challenge
Representing the full breadth of UK space capability on the world stage — in a pavilion that had to work for government, industry, and academia alike.
The International Astronautical Congress is the largest and most prestigious event in the global space sector. When the UK Space Agency selected us to design and deliver the UK Pavilion at IAC 2024 in Milan, the brief was demanding: create a high-impact, visually cohesive presence that could simultaneously serve as a showcase for the UK Space Agency, a branded platform for UK industry partners, an informal networking hub, and a formal venue for ministerial announcements — all within a single, flexible footprint.
Our Solution
We designed and delivered a multi-functional pavilion environment built around distinct but connected zones — a dedicated UK industry area giving partner companies their own branded space for stakeholder engagement, open networking areas for delegates from across industry and academia, and defined meeting spaces for structured conversation. Digital assets were integrated throughout to communicate key messages, with flexible presentation space capable of hosting official ministerial announcements.
Working to a tight build schedule, we drew on our international supplier and partner network to deliver a fast-turnaround solution that balanced cost-effectiveness and sustainability without compromising on quality — with our team onsite throughout to maintain standards of delivery.
